Get a crash course in Publishing at the 2008 Graphic Media Experience!

The Graphic Media Experience is an intensive course on publishing production for High School Juniors. You’ll spend four days living on the RIT campus, working with a team of RIT students, faculty and staff.

The Graphic Media Experience features a Yearbook Track, specifically designed to provide managing editors and production editors with the digital workflow skills they need improve yearbook production and produce better quality results. Yearbook students receive hand-on instruction in digital imaging, scanning, photo retouching, advanced page and book layout techniques, proofing and basic print production.

The Graphic Media Experience is held every June in Rochester New York. There are even scholarships available for students who qualify.

About Publishing Media @ RIT

Publishing Media explores how to create, transform, and publish designs and ideas, to any audience, across any media. That might mean publishing to the Web, in a printed piece, to an iPhone, or any other medium. From page production, to the technology of pixels and ink, to media marketing plans, our students are exposed to all aspects of the publishing process, and then concentrate their study in the area that interests them most.
